Art Moderne in Rhodium and 22kt Gold #2513
The Art Moderne ( pronounced "moe DAIRN" ) style originated with the Bauhaus movement in Germany and was very popular in architecture, art and industrial design from the 1930's - 1950's. It was seen as a simpler, more streamlined design than Art Deco with less ornamentation.
The buckeye burl in this particular pen has an attractive gray tone and overall soft, marble-like grain pattern. Subtle, but very dramatic overall.
The pen's signature look includes wide bands made of Rhodium and 22kt gold. In addition there is a clear Swarovski crystal on the clip.
The pen accepts standard Parker refills.
It arrives in an attractive black gift box, ready to give as a memorable gift.
